Ian has a vast and well-honed creative and project management skillset, having shaped and guided episodes from the TV writers’ room story break to the script page then on through physical production and post. He was most recently a writer and Co-Executive Producer on SNOWPIERCER (AMC). Previously, he was on Marvel’s HELSTROM (Hulu), SIREN (Freeform) and has also written on 911 (Fox), 12 MONKEYS (SyFy) and FROM DUSK TILL DAWN (Netflix).

Ian has developed TV series and features with producers, studios, streamers, and networks including Bruckheimer TV, Alloy, Berlanti Productions, Gotham Group, Humanoids Comics, WB, Sony, CBSTV, A&E, Paramount Network, NBC, and CW.

Ian also collaborates with the industry’s top commercial directors to compose treatments for job consideration by ad agency creatives and film studio executives.

He is a graduate of Emerson College’s film program. When he isn’t writing or trying to explain to his mom back home in St. Louis what exactly it is he does for a living, he enjoys spending time with his young daughter and forensic psychologist wife, who both teach him a great deal about psychopathic behavior.
